      lol.. thanks guys...

Yea, Campisano said something about me finding new employment..

It really was cool. At the end we were swapping out being leader.. I was ahead and then Nick pulled ahead and then pulled a 29.9 out of his butt in one of the last runs. It was my last run so I just went for it. I have a brake issue but the new bar worked wonders and the car was just so smooth with very little understeer.

By the way, Kyle's second gen is wicked fast..

Anyways, it was fun competing with the other editors. To be honest it was nice to win since I didn't get to drive at optima. My autocross practicing is paying off.. now I just need to work on my road racing skills.

Great fun, but I think Nick Licata is out to put my head on a stick next year... lol

The smartest thing I've done is surround myself with really smart people and to pay attention to what they tell me. Dave's Pozzi's suspension skills and Mary's driving skills have helped me (and the car) quite a bit.

After the last run I was pretty beat. And yea, I feel a certain pressure to have the car do well.. I guess it's just part of the gig.

All very fun.. although the big wall at the finish line was pretty scary...

Congrats Steve, and to think you're not even done with Penny. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?
It was also good to see Jeff Smith was out there with his old Chevelle. I'm betting you haven't seen the last of him.

Working on it.. lots of angles.. I even put it under the car pointed at the watts and suspension.. hope that one comes out.

Fun weekend.. now to start imporving stuff for Del Mar. We will be lowering the spring rates from 550/210 to 500/275 in order to help front to rear weight transfer. It's a process
