Hammertone paints
i am looking to touch up some bits and pieces on my car and was thinking about using a hammertone paint finish... not a two part process but the rattle can type.. anyone use them ?
exactly how durable are these finishes....

They are Ok, I used some in my trunk and it held up fairly well until I tore down the car again. Like most of those type of can paints it is a bit plasticy if sprayed too thick.

I have used the non spray bomb kind and sprayed it, used it on my fan shroud and it seems to be a good paint. Finish is different but in a good way. I would use it again but like I said this was the non spray bomb type from Lowes.

it holds up very well. I've used it before. I've also used wrinkle paint. Wrinkle paint is extremely durable.

I have used the Rustoleum (sp?) brand of hammertone quite often. Looks great, and seems to be very durable!
