Just not the same anymore though. Seems like they lost a bunch of sponsors or something. It's my all time favorite series to watch and is very disappointing that it doesn't get the coverage the roundy-round guys get.

Alive yes, well......I don't know about that.

Funny you shoud ask about his car, I saw it today and snapped some pictures. It is waiting on a few trim pieces and will be back on the road. The new paint is stunning, not to mention it lost some weight and now sports a fuel cell with a package tray mounted filler.

And Alan really does need to enter in RSE, how many 38 chevys do you think that they will have as entrants? Not many I would venture to guess.

Dennis, I agree that last year was a tough year for Trans Am (who has HD tv?) but I think they are going to be back on Speed this year. They have partnered up with ChampCar and as CC's heath improves so will TA. Honestly, TA doesn't bear much resemblance to the earliest years, SpeedGT has sort of taken over where Donahue left off... But I was always a huge IMSA fan and TA carries that torch nicely (heck the same guys are still winning races).

It's always a thrill to see the vintage TA cars at Lime Rock.
