Body mounting solid vs bushed

Okay guys its been a super long time since i've worked on my project and I am ready to get started once again. Basically its a 68 camaro fully gutted with a art morrison max g FULL frame. I am designing it to be a removable body from the chassis. The floor pan will be full SS 10 gauge material. For the as I call them tabs or mounts i have 2 options. First oftion is to weld the mount flush with the top of the 2 x 4 frame rail and bolt it directly to the floor pan. Second option is weld the tab or mount below flush to the rail and make some type of bushing- i was thinking like 1/4" dead soft aluminum. I plan to use 12 mounts in different locations on the frame rails. These mounts are roughly 2 1/8 wide and so would be my welding length. The mounts are also gusseted on the sides adding more surface area to weld to. the frame rails are .120 thick and the gusseted tabs are 3/16 thick. Think it will be strong enough? Thanks Chris

Wow. Why 10 gauge for the floor? That's like 1/8" . 16 gauge would be plenty thick enough. Especially in SS.

you can also weld threaded inserts into the top of the frame and bolt the floor pan onto those
