autometer speedometer

ok, i tried searching. i tried calling autometer. no dice.

1987 GMC s15.
1989 5 speed and VSS.

i got the vSS hooked up to the factory DRAC, and its working (at least im assuming so, as the check engine light for no VSS went off.)

the speedometer was working properly when i had it wired straight staight to the VSS. now that i have the drac in place, i have a splice going from one of the signal wires to the DRAC to the input on the speedometer. no operation. i did it exactly like the guy at autometer told me to.



so, anyone ever done this successully and care to tell me how?
