Brans72: I remember doing a 5.75", on yours, and MuscleCarJohn's, and others. On the 19x10 set up that you are going for, with that short tire, you'll get away with 5.5-6". Its when going with the taller tires that you have to be a little more precise. Let us know if we can help any further.

That is correct Jon,we did 5.75" in the rear and 5.5" in front being that my car still retains all the original wheelhouse mouldings and I didn't want to cut them.6" would have had me rubbing on the inside and would have required shimming them outward...again,on my particular car. These are 18x9's & 18x10's:

I had 5.5 BS with my 19x10 C6 wheels with a bit of rubbing on the fender lip. New adapters will give me 6.0 BS and should be perfect.

You already knew that from my other thread,though...LOL

Yes, your original post was what made me think of C6 wheels.
I love them on your car.
I'm in the process of buying a set of polished 5 spokes like your painted ones

What kind of wheels are on that red 70'? Finish?

My buddy has a 71 and looking for a set. Would they clear C6 brakes?
