Hi,
Need some help for getting things done right for first time. I have an ls1 engine with 4l60 auto trans swap going on (for -67 Firebird), and I need to purchase some gauges. I was thinking to fit 5" speedo and 5" qaud-gauge to cluster panel and use hood tacho. Is it possible to use original hood tacho with ls1 and how I can get it work?
I have read that autometer speedo's work directly, when taking the wires from trans, please confirm. if not, what kind of sending unit I need to purchase to get it work correctly.
Quad-gauge will contain Oil-pressure, Water temp, fuel level and Volts, but I think that this will be the simplest to get working...
Anybody got pics of 2 gauge set-up for -67 Firebird or Camaro?
