New guy-
I'm new to the site, thought I'd introduce myself.
The name's Matt. I'm a contractor by day, and toy with cars and other mechanical stuff during my limited free time.
My current big project is a '69 Buick Skylark 2 door HT.
455, T56, Updated suspension. Not an all-out track car. When finished I'm shooting for classic looks, with loads of power and a nice ride and handling capabilities. This car was my first car and I'm doing everything right, one step at a time.
My other projects include: A mess of S10's- there's always at least 2 around... The current one is an '85 S10 blazer 4x4, soon to be lifted up, engine/trans swapped, fresh paint, new interior, building a nice daily driver with a clean southern shell.
...And a friend's '86 Firebird that will be more of a wild custom/pro-touring rig that we just started in my shop. Custom bodywork, LS1, T56, updated suspension, big wheels and rubbers, the whole nine.
So there's the list of my vehicular messes... the other ones are carpentry projects, ATV projects, other assorted junk, friend's projects taking up my space, a couple of alternate fuel ideas starting to take shape... I'm into anything that can be built or taken apart and keeps me interested!

My projects:
1969 Buick Skylark- It's a mess right now. Worked 455/T56 on the way. Modern suspension for ride and handling. Ol' skool looks, new stuff hidden- "Fast with Class"
1985 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4- Starting to make some progress- lifted, motor/trans swapped soon.
1986 Firebird- (friend's, but in my shop) Getting started- custom bodywork soon, LS1/T56, better suspension, fat tires all around... good stuff.
