I like orange. I painted by bowtie block black but plan on repainting it before I put it in.

Silver is my vote. Orange would contrast to much IMO with the blue body colour. Plus it's been kinda played out to much. My current big chev is all black with silver tin and sand blasted intake. Love the look. Plans for the small chev is all black, including the tin and intake, epoxying over or grinding off all brand names, hidden nitrous lines under the intake, and stock valve covers.

Can we get some more pics of the build?

The only things that would be Blue would be the Block, Valve Covers and Spark Plug Wires.. I like the Orange, it has been my color of choice since day one and the silver just looks good.. :D
It will be Satin, Semi Gloss, Semi Flat, Whatever you want to call it..

would help if we read. My vote is for silver then blue. Im not sure if the blue would pop much with the satin black engine bay, or would the gloss look too shiny in contrast to the satin black. Making the whole engine silver/aluminum would help the motor stand out against the satin black.

Orange wouldn't look good, too much contrast with the rest of the car, too much blue would overpower the look, my vote is to go silver and add a little blue if you like, maybe to the valve cover or just the writing on the valve covers, that would be best.

I would go with black, which is exactly what I did with my engine...

well... orange is blue's complementary color. If they work well in the art world they should be just fine in your car.
