      New Guy / Tenn.

Well, this is my first post, so I thought I would introduce myself. I luckily stumbled across this forum and joins weeks ago. Looked at many builds here and am amazed at how you guys build your cars. I still own my first car, a 70 Chevelle Malibu. Purchaesed for $150 when I was 15. That was many moons ago. My Dad helped me get it looking like a car instead of a ragged out jalopy. We painted, installed a clutch, new interior, exhaust and tires and wheels. This thing was cool back in the 80s. Fast forward to after I got married and in a house and while discussing the plans I had for this car, a complete frame off build was in order. I tore it apart and started back to the frame and drivetrain complete. I have a rolling chassis in one gargae and the body in another. It has set like this for at least 19 years. After finding this place and others, the bug is back. I have honed a few skills with a Jeep I built, and am ready to get back in the car market. Sorry for the long post, but just wanted to let you know where the project is starting from. Look around, because I will be asking questions in the area discussions.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?
