      Ricks SS tank prices

Hey guys, Im know a lot of you have used Ricks fuel tanks on your rides. I called them to ask for a quote for my project and was kind of shocked on how much it came up to. All Areomotive stuff, 11101 in tank pump, 12304 micron filter, 12301 post filter and 13109 regulator and the tank of course came to $2426 shipped. I guess I have been seeing the prices for Ricks Tubed tanks for fuel injection for around $1600. Does that sound about right. The people were really nice to talk with. I added up the extra fuel stuff and it doesnt make up the differnce. What was some of the prices you guys paid for your tanks?

      Wow.

I hope they added the cost of lube in that price.

I don't think those lower cost tanks have Aeromotive pumps, regulators and filters. I think that is what is driving your cost up. The lower cost tanks have Delco or Walbro pumps without regulators etc.

My Ricks tank for my Elky project was less than $1200. delivered. It was a custom fit for the Schwartz chassis with a Walbro 255 pump. No filter or regulator. That was in March of 2007. I'm sure it would be more today.

I don't know why no one on this board uses these guys: http://www.rockvalleyantiqueautoparts.com/catalog.htm

They were making the same tank before Rick's and with baffles and Walbro pumps.
