      Removing Quarters/ need a little help

      After sanding my quarters the sail panel to roof has what looks like a lead fill from the factory.How do I remove this to get to the seam

      Heat it up with a propane torch and it will flow out. It is lead so be careful and wear a respirator.

      please do it out in the open not in a closed garage, also wear a respirator!!! lead is dangerous to breathe in be safe not stupid!!!!!!!!!

      What he said... I used a torch and a small wire brush to get it done.

      Make sure the respirator you use has magenta filters. Dust masks, and other filter colors will not stop the lead from reaching your lungs.
      The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
