      VIN/Trim Tag Decoding

I've been trying to decode the VINs on my Malibus (78), wagon (83) & El Camino (83) but can't seem to find some of the codes listed. Are there any books or websites that can help me decode them. The one Chevelle/El Camino Book (1964-1987) I have doesn't cover the G-bodies to good. Any suggestions?

You can get a "Restoration Package" from GM - http://www.darklair.com/monte/miscinfo.html
      Or try this: http://www.chevyasylum.com/tech/rpoall.html

Thanks for the help. Are these RPO codes for ALL GM vehicles?

You know I'm not sure. My guess would be that the option codes would be the same for all lines. I would try the Chevelle site in the forums and see if anyone there might know.
