      new disk brake help

Just put on a new set of wilwood 12.19 slotted and drilled brakes, and they are extremely tight. and make a lot of noise when the brakes are applied. Not metal to metal, but still got my attention. any one know if this is normal or do I have a problem? I did not finish the suggested break in procedure because of the noise. Do I just need to continue the process? I removed the wheels and inpected every thing and all seems fine. Any help is appriciated.

Are you sure you centered the caliper on the rotor> Did you use the shims and sin it by hand to make sure it free wheels? If you have the caliper to tight one side or the other, it will scream.

They appear to be centered in the caliper, but I will check again in the daylight. The car does not pull in any direction brakes applied or not, maybe all four are off? I will try again when I get off work.
