      Wrong U-joint?

See how the U-bolt overlaps the cap on the joint by about 1/2? Is this bad - wrong joint, or ? I used the U-joint that came with the driveshaft which came with the TKO I bought from Keisler.

      Thanks,

Hi Tom, the actual problem is the diff yoke, you need a wide joint for the yoke and a small joint for the shaft... Spicer make a combo joint, availible through most parts houses. Sorry no part number, not in the shop. edit: wait , how does the joint fit in the yoke? can you get a picture from the opposite side?

Here's the other side. It's the same; I tried to center it when I installed it, but it doesn't seem right. So, maybe take the u-joint to a local shop and see if they can find a larger one on the yoke side?

Wow its realy hard to tell in your pictures but is there any sort of a gap between the joint cap and flange on the yoke? it appears to fit correctly. I wonder if Strange uses a billit style yoke cap?
