      89 Cobra YSI

Well here is my ride right now as it sits. The car is fast, and clean, but I think I am looking for more out of it. With all of the recent tracks being shot down in the Long Island area, I think I am goign to make it more of a street car that I can thrash around on a road course. I have been hanging out on this site for a while now, and have made some posts here and there, but now its time to put the time and money in. There are some rediculous cars on here, and they are show and go to the fullest. A lot of chevys and mopars, but I figured I could be one of the first ones in the United States to make a pro touring fox mustang. There is another guy in California, who has called me from PT, but I havent had a chance to call him back. It is nice to know that he is going down the same road that I am going to venture into, so it makes me a little happier to know that there is another crazy person out there like me.... If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.....

Should I go down the LS1 Route?? All I really have to do suspension wise is add a torque arm, panhard bar, coil overs, close ratio rack, steering shaft, k member brace, and a few other minor things..

Anyone have any ideas on paint shcemes? I am very open to this?

      Interior?

Enigne, and tranny setup? The car makes 508 RWHP now with a blower... It is great, more mid to upper RPM range, but it is a ticking time bomb in my eyes (Stock Block)

Car already has a 9" rearend, 12 point cage, etc... Full interior, fuel system...

      Hold off on Chebbie power,lolol

Wait till ya smoke that motor, although I believe it could be a while. 508 does not seem like overkill, Very NicE but not over kill. Maybe invest in airrides shockwaves. I've seen them do very impressive, on the track, I have heard so much good about them on this site. Plus you could tub it nicely and fit monster meets under the rear, and when ya let the air out at a show, it would just look mean as hell!

Which ever way you go, I am sure it will be killer when finished. It looks SicK as hell with some very nice touches as is!

Thanks Man... My business partner has 2 world challenge Mustangs, that he loves and have been upwards of 180+ mph at lime rock. I am not looking for that. I am looking for a bad ass street car, and to be one of the first pro touring mustangs out there.

We need to talk sometime. I called you once but just got your voice mail. I would like to discuss builds.
