The red one was on ebay (IIRC) a while back. They are prone to heavy structural rust and patch panels are not as easy or as cheap as Mustangs and Camaros. Empty shells are forsale every once and a while but $25K is a high palce to start a build.

Love those cars ...... the only thing I could afford are the factory stock magnesium wheels ...... which I recently purchased (a set of 5 - 3 -7"x15's & 2 - 8"x15's) for a VERY reasonable price. They are being used on my 46 ford cpe.

Stevo- Mine is the silver one that is linked to above. They are lots of fun and good street driven PT cars.
Check this site if you want to see some other nice ones www.panteracars,com and see the forums section.

      Pantera

A friend of mine had one that was Candy Apple Red with the flares and spoilers. Very clean car, I always wanted that car even though I'm not a ford guy. Could put an LS in one now.

I used to have a picture of one called Whiplash as my desk top. It was blue and yellow. I'm pretty sure it spent most of it's time on the racetrack too. Maybe someday a guy'll be able to shell out for one...

      I know where one is

I have a neighbor who is a body guy. He prepped one's hood for paint and the old paint came off in sheets. Red of course.

I think it needs new paint, but the interior is in great shape. The owner wanted $25, but I believe that is before all the paint fell off. PM me if interested and I will make the phone call to see what he has to have for it. Rebuilt motor and transmission.

I thought of buying it until I got in it.

Not a big man's car. Lot's and lots of nooks and crannies on this car. Not an easy job. Very cool though.

This is another really cool Pantera that came to Texas World Speedway for Texas A&M's Sports Car Club's 40th anniversary race in 2008. It was the second fastest car around the 2.9 mile road course... it had a REALLY radical sounding 351 Cleveland in it...

      Panteras are soooo hot .
You don't need to do anything to them to make them pro-touring.
      Just drive them somewhere.
