CF is on the way. I was just trying a few different pieces.

This is just a trial. Next ones will have holes and smaller weave.

Natural aluminum finish with horizontal round ended slots about 1/2" to 3/8" wide from the top to bottom of the piece with the carbon behind. Would be cool.

It doesn't seem like too much of a vent with the cf backing plate.

As far as the billet front, I think it's too busy. I'd much prefer something like Benni posted.

The CF would have holes drilled in it. Oh well back to the drawing board, lol. I just thought maybe something different then everyone else.
Full carbon pieces are next along with many other CF parts. Thanks guys for the feedback. Good to hear it now before we back a TON of them.

My thoughts: "Cheesy" and "What's the point?"

No offense, but it just seems like a tacky unnecessary ricer-ish add-on to me.

MY OPINION: If you BUY something like this, it's a waste of money...

      BUT---

IF you can make them yourself, they're pretty freakin' cool!

So more power to ya--the quality looks great! Be proud that you can make something that cool yourself!

Im trying to start a parts company. Looking to makes parts that are cosmetic and have function. This part was made to be a cosmetic part. There will be others that function. CF drivelines, swaybars, front clips ect. Just trying to offer a "new" style or twist on parts that are on the market now. I figure its a win win for hot rod guys. The more pushing this kind of stuff the more parts you'll have on the market.

I like the ones icebird posted. Would I ever buy a set? probably not. Would I attempt to make a set? If I had the time and material, definitely.
