4130 Chromoly Tubing
Simple question:
On 4130 Chromoly tubing, do I have to use 4130 Chromoly sheet metal to make a gusset for a set of handlebars..or can I use any type of steel.
Also what rod should I use when I tig it together?

I believe ER70S wire is what you would use. As far as the gussets, I would stick with 4130. Can't hurt, right?
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

At the time I wrote this post I was not aware that they even made 4130 in sheet metal. Whoops!
