Fuel delivery questions...
Ok so the tank on our Challenger is leakin. gettin a new tank with a CE sump. Question is what about fuel lines? I will be convertin it over to Megasquirt, so I am planing this fuel system to be EFI friendlt even though temporarly it will run carb'd for a bit longer. So, Braided hose? Hard line? steel, aluminum or stainless. If I go SS I need a way better tubing flare tool as well. Any ideas on one that works with SS? I will be running a return line as well. Probably both 1/2inch
I want the lines ran so in the future all I need to do is install an inline efi pump and filter and. Any ideas on a surge tank as well? Are they needed

Just a suggestion- if you use an external a-1000 from aeromotive they have a carb regulator and an efi regulator for that same pump. So you can run your carb set up and when your ready to switch over to efi its a simple regulator change up in the engine bay. There both return style regulators and you could plumb the system to support gobs of horsepower.
Stainless steel hardlines running up and back are always very nice, you will probably need to feed the pump from the sump with a short piece of 10AN steel braided line through a 100 micron filter and small amounts of braided line to make the transition to the hard lines.

That is correct, they (Aeromotive) have a regulator that can change from efi pressures to carb pressures with a change of a spring.
In fact, I may sell my A-1000 as I am planning on going to an internal pump.Current: 2010 CTS-V
Sold: '65 Pontiac, '08 TBSS
