      GM's New Direct Injection V6

I'm talking about the one that is supposed to wind up in the new Camaro, and the one that is supposedly in the CTS right now. Does anyone know where you can get one? Do you have to buy a wrecked car? I thought it would be a cool idea to swap one out into a 1st Gen Camaro. Heck, a 300HP V6 camaro would make for a fun driver with a little bit of economy to boot!
Just kicking around some ideas, I tried searching the web for some info, but all I find is the technical info about it.

That is the "high feature" V6 and if we needed one here it would most likely have to come from the assembly line, which takes forever! Most likely it will be a few years before it is ever offered over the counter and even then it would come bare with most likely nothing attached. Honestly, it wouldn't be worth the hasle and wouldn't get any better fuel economy than an LS engine. It would be different to see one in there but I don't think I would persue it. Just my thoughts though

Well if they don't step it up they're going to be 5 years behind ford again...at least according to the latest press release. I hear chatter of a twin turbo direct injection v6 from that side.

Obviously I'm a GM guy, but you gotta go where the product is.
