Link material for a 3 link

Just looking for thoughts on these links for a 3 link setup.

Its a 3/4" shank on the rod ends, but i'm just wondering about thoughts on the aluminum for the links. I bought them from a stock car supply company.

Its going in a sleeper pro-touring '54 chevy sedan with a turbo charged inline 6. Im hoping for about 350-450hp. Rear tires will be 315/35 17's.

      Thanks

      Rob

The diameter/length ratio on that appears to be in the area where columnar bending might be a concern, especially with aluminum. It would probably be OK, but it's not something I would do myself.

Thanks for the info. I grabbed one and measured it, its 1.125 OD with .25 wall thickness. Perhaps I should just switch to some DOM steel, or I could sleeve it with aluminum.

I like the weight aspect of the aluminum, but im not a fan of bent links either.

      What is the length?

I'd use 1.375" x 0.95" 4130, which is about 1.3lbs/ft. Your setup is around 0.75 lb/ft, so you really aren't saving that much weight.

      Thanks again
