      Sham Wow

I thought about gettin this for my cars. It's like a shammie but the real shamies are more expensive.

Anybody else seen the commercal with Vince? He does a new comercial for a salad chopper. He says "Stop living a boring life. Buy it." LOL

Vince Offer is his name. Aside from being a TV pitch man he spends a lot of time suing people.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vince_Offer

Still I like him. He's one of the most entertaining TV pitch men I've ever seen. A ton better than that Billy Mays idiot. That guy annoys the hell out of me. Why is he always yelling?

LoL. Friend finally got to try out his Sham Wow at a party recently. Someone spilled their beer and he claims it cleaned it up from the carpet in no time.

I can't believe someone would spill a beer to try it out. I would have used water.

I might buy one but the guy is incredibly irritating to me. I change channels everytime he comes on.

Not sure if the stuff works but if you google search Vince Offer .... you'll see he's a pitch man from way back along with some kind of comedy background. His style is to irritate the customer. Not sure it works though.

AFAIC he's no Ron Popeil .......

Caveat Emptor ......... when buying things "pitched" on tv comercials late at night.

Well I dont know if it works or not BUT if you watch the tv ad real close...
When he pours the drink in the carpet patch you can see it run from under and around the carpet. Then he says "were going to do this in real time", the carpet is close up and the puddle of drink is gone. He then claims the Shamwow soaks it all up in one quick roll over the carpet.

For my cars I like the Absorber. Its an artificial chamois that isn't very expensive.
