      biggest tire

I know this thread has probably een beat to death. I Have 17x9.5 on the back of my 69 camaro...I am going to buy a Prodigy rear suspension, and was thinking might as well mini tub the car as well(this is how it always starts, right). I have the AR cr205s and love those rims, the widest you can get is 17x11. What I am asking is what backspace would I need....right now I have 5.5", so do I need 7" of back space? I plan on running a 315 on back..maybe a 335 if it is not to wide for the rim....any help and you will earn a free cyber beer!!

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I am in the same boat as you are. I will order the Prodigy bar later next year and mini tube my 68 at the same time, but will be getting a narrowed rearend at the same time. I love my wheels as well but they only come in the 17x9.5 that I have now. Anybody know of anybody that can properly widen a Centerline brand wheel?

Yea I know what cha mean, just blame it on me that is fine. If Frank do such a good job of letting us know so much and offer what he does we wouldn't have to be in this mess, if that is what you want to call it. Thanks Frank for being the way you are.....see I won't thow you under the bus!!!
