New s10 looking into pro-touring

Hi,
I am from South Carolina. I have a 2001 Z28 that I drag race and I just got a 99 S10 that I am looking into making a pro-touring style truck.

It is a reg cab, short bed. I have a stout 383 that is going to go in it backed up by some type of manual trans with a 9" rear(junkyard find out of a third gen). My biggest hurdle right now is researching for front suspension that will match up with big brakes without breaking the millions for the brake system.

Any help you can offer would be good.

I am really looking for info on
1. Inexpensive (not cheap) 13" front brakes(Z51, Z06, etc)
2. Front suspension compatable with ^ brakes
3. Manual trans that would hold up to 500 hp(engine dynoed at 521)

c5 or LS1 f-body brakes...easy swap and can do it for less than 600bucks, tko600 for the trans....welcome to the forum, great to see another s10 on the forum...there are several really nice s10 builds going on here....i have a thread titled project blackwidow...im finishing up a LS1 brake swap and have already done the tko600 swap....
