      Any electricians here??

      Just wondering about somthing silly.

If have a Lamp that is plugged in and turned on but with no bulb in it does it still draw electricity? In other words does it still cost $$?

What is the bulb is blown? Any difference??

      Thanks

With no resistance you have no current draw, but if you can no longer resist the temptation of putting your finger in it
You will light up yourself and not really feel as bright as a light but you will be a bit smarter and know that it is live when you make contact if the switch is on and draw a bit of electricity to it and your senses.

      No light no electric bill.
