Thanks Scott! Im more of a neighbor than you would think, Im actually in Arcadia, just north of Noblesville. I put Indy cause everyone knows where that is, no one knows where Arcadia is. I was just at Lowes in Noblesville this morning buying some lumber to make rocking horses for my son- niece and nephew for christmas. Maybe we might run in to each other some time, maybe we already have??

      Thanks again,
      Travis

I put central Indiana, because like you, I didn't think anyone would know Noblesville. Although they would know it more than Arcadia. Small world. Good luck with the rocking horses, sounds like a very nice Christmas present. I'll have to go look for your 67 project build. My specs are in the sig below. Hasn't been on the road for a few years, can't wait to drive it again.

It must be on the road now I could swear I saw this car on 32 going east into Noblesville today around 5:30 pm ??? Was that you? If so, the car sounded GOOD!

Where at on 32? If it was between Culvers & Hague road, then yes you probably did see it. Was through there about that time.

Thanks, I haven't heard it under load on the road yet. Other than the echo off of concrete walls on the interstate. I am beating my head against the wall with it. Had it tuned, but I don't feel it is right, still smells rich & it is either missing out or surging from the cam. Anoying

I was heading west on 32 and pulling up to the stop light on 32 and hague. I saw the car and heard you going thru the gears as you past me going east. Now that you mention it you would have had to come off hague, because I was stopped and so was the opossing traffic. The car really does sound good!!

Cool thanks. I can't believe you remembered seeing it on here. My last post before yours was December last year. Good memory!

I'm going to have to find someone to drive it so I can hear it. Wife? Not! Can't drive a stick. LOL

It's is a little too loud inside though, gonna have to find a way to tone it down. It has 40 series Flowmasters on it now, may try 50's.

That is cause it was going by fast and was a blur! LOL. It's not bad, but has some spots that need attention if I can ever afford some paint.

No, not at all...Like I said it sounds real good! I knew when I saw the car that I had seen it some where before and It also caught my attention when I could tell it had a manual trans. Then the sound caught my attention. As I was driving down the road it was bugging me about where I had seen the car before...and then DING DING DING I knew it was from here. I was kinda anxious to get home and see. So when I found this thread and saw the car..... Not to many Monte's running around with that paint scheme. Nice car Scot!

Paint scheme was on it when I bought it with no motor or trans, 4 spare tires, & interior dash painted white.

It was repoed by a bank, so he new they were coming. First time I saw the car was at the Corvette Nationals at IRP in some special section behind the grand stands.

I wasn't real fond of the paint, but it grew on me, replaced the hood with a cowl hood & I can have it painted the front maroon/wine color (without the scallops).
