      control arm suggestions

I need some help. I am going to be buying a set of control arms for my 68 camaro. I'm probably going to go with tubular, but am not sure what brand to get. DSE, Global West, Hiedts? Im assuming the cheap deals you see on Ebay I should stay away from. The previous owner hit something and both of my lowers have curled lips on them, (stock ones) So I need to replace them anyway.

My car will be more or less a daily driver, more so a weekend car. I am not planning on racing it. I am keep the rear suspension stock with the exception of a rear sway bar added. I want the car to handle well, but also want it to be safe. I plan to run stock springs as well, meaning Im not planning on running coilover shocks. I've heard horror stories of aftermarkey arms breaking. Since I am not going to be racing or competing on any level, would I be better off just keeping the stock control arms?

Although, I would like to lower the car just a bit, maybe an inch or two. I plan on running 17's front and back as well.

      thanks,
