      how to primer when patching?

so I've got my body back from the media blaster, and there many small patches to be made. I don't want to shoot epoxy until I've done most of the patches, so what do I do in the meantime?

      should I use a weld-through primer?

should I primer it anyway, and then grind off where I need to weld? seems like that'll make my job harder.

or should I just leave it bare as long as it doesn't start surface rusting?

there are pics in my project thread

I would suggest prepping it for primer and getting it into epoxy as soon as you can. Doing a little bit of grinding to put in patches is a lot less work then DA'ing the entire car when it starts to surface rust...
