      Ford Modular Engine

Is the Ford Modular 32valve engine any good, I am looking at a Motorsport 5.0 32 valver, manley Rods Steel Crank, dry sump, It is a damaged engine, when the drysump belt broke, it has blued the crank, damaged 3 rods and a piston, it was dynoed @ 465 HP on factory injection, obviously the crank will need to be checked for straightness but it could be a bargain or a can of worms,
Has anyone got the external dimensions of this engine???

if crank is dead you may have gallded cam journal also some of the mods had issues with oil passages in early years.
