Anyone Use the 20102 Painless Wiring kit?

Anyone Use the 20102 Painless Wiring kit for 68-74 GM cars? What did you think of it? Does it come with all the plugs etc to wire the head, tail lights etc or do you have to splice it into your existing plugs?

headlights are included because they are a SAE standardized plug. The vehicle specific plugs are not and will need to be reused. If you want a vehicle specific kit, look at American Autowire. They include all the connectors required new. We have installed them and a dealer for them if you have any more questions.

Well... depending on your specific chassis... I myself have the Painless 20101 - 18 ckt harness for the 67 F-Body, the same thing but specifically for the 67... and it comes with all of the correct, OEM, connectors on everything that interfaces with OEM equipment. No issues what so ever... as it was plug and play.

      FWIW... the 20102 is for 69-74. The 20101 is for 67 + 68.

Double check the bulkhead wiring. Mine had a few pushed in the wrong slots. A lot easier to check B4 installation than after.
FYI Painless will not supply a schematic of their harness. They say it is proprietary.....??

Maybe they have changed there vehicle specific kits, but mine did not come with any connectors for the marker or tail lights. I felt that defeated the purpose of a new kit as the connectors are usually the parts that need replaced (other than cut wires).

Rallye455 - Have you had a chance to install the kit yet? Did it have all the connectors you needed? Let us know. I'll be ordering something soon and this could sway me.

If these are relacement harness', they should be the same as the wiring diagram in the service manual....

Not really, they have more circuits then stock. Include leads for fuel pump, windows, door locks, third brake light, etc...
