      Large tubing

I built a 2x4 chassis for my car and have run into a problem. I cannot find tubing large enough for 3in exhaust to run through or to fill in where I need to notch the frame for my steering. I need at least 3" id for the steering and some large enough to fit 3in exhaust through. Any suggestions on where to get it?

If you have access to a roller, roll a piece of flat stock or sheet. If you don't, you could still work a piece of stock or sheet around another piece of pipe to a larger radius. It will probably relax and give you a larger radius anyhow.

Just look for a structural steel supplier in your are or talk to a carpenter and ask where they get their I beams for construction those same companies also have round tubing that is used for jack posts and they will have many different sizes in stock and the best part is that because the stuff comes in 20-24' length there always is waist they will sell cheap
