      Bringing down the rear

I changed to 8" with 4" offsets on the rear, the tires roll inside the fender lip fine in the corners since I trimmed the lip out. I had 4 1/2 offset but they rubbed the frame rails. But now I'd like to bring it down some.
I was thinking of a 1/2" aluminum block between the leaf and spring perch to start. Up front I'll start with a 1/2 coil off and go from there.

Whatcha think? How best to get her down?

It tipped the Scales at 3200 and change. Without me and 18 gallons in the fuel cell. Lot of steel in the roll cage.
Running an all Iron .060 over Pontiac 350, steel hood and bumper assembly.

I hope to trim it down with Aluminum heads, glass hood and Aluminum bumper frame w/ glass bumper.
Like to get it down around 3000#, that's the class low limit.

The car actually handles great, but it gets a little light in the front on the top end. I'd like to bring the front down about 1/2-1" to start and the rear about 1/2"
