      Starting problem

My old truck normally starts good hot or cold. However if I switch the engine off with the air conditioner on and try to restart the engine, the starter will not engage. It seems there is no voltage getting to the starter. If I turn the air off, it will start. Solenoid??

Interesting. I guess you could use it as a security device???????

      Sorry, I'm no help.

Did you tap into the wiring for the solenoid for the AC. That's about all I can think would cause that problem. If you have them wired in series and the AC is first in line.
