Car Builder Battle - Import -vs- Hot Rods

      Team,

This show is all about the scene, the hot cars we drive, the shops, THIS FORUM, and manufactures that support the Hot Rod scene. I love this show concept and no one has ever done anything like this before. I'm looking to hand pick 20 of the hottest Hot Rod's from the East Coast to represent the scene. Can you please help get the word out this show to anyone you know from NC, to Boston, to Ohio that has a bad ass Hot Rod?

Sounds like a static show then?

You are unlikely to get as many takers from this site without some form of competitions such as track or autocross.

This kind of shows comes to a purely subjective vote biased by attendee preference. THe truly age old question comes to performance, drivability and also appearance. THink Real Street Eliminator form a few years back, but classic vs import.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

I think some of the cars on this forum could hold there own on looks alone. Both MotiV8r and Penny sport what the "younger crowd" would like, very nice paint, carbon fiber panels, clean engine compartments, etc.
I just help host our 10th annual car/truck show here in phx and both of those cars woulda blown most of the "show cars" away in this area.

Change on judging - Top 20 Hot Rod guys are judging the Top 5 Tuner Cars. Top 20 Tuner Cars will then judge the Top 5 Hot Rod cars. Builders of any TOP car know what they are looking for and at.

How can I do an Autocross in the middle of winter in the NE. Show your dyno numbers, track results, video, etc. Real cars is what we are looking for and LOVE to have some guys represent from this forum!

Hey, I raced on a track at the Harrisburg farm complex a couple times........ oh ya, that was bicycles on an indoor BMX track for NBL nationals.....

I noticed it doesn't say how much the fee that will be charged if your car is picked will be?

100 bucks to Battle. Either you have a 1 in 40 odds of winning $5,000 or 1 in 8 shot at winning $200. Best odds I have ever seen with no trophy, I'm more into winning cash as you too should as well.

is there a judging criteria? If this is a cleanliness / detail jusdging like most shows then a lot on here with real drivers wont be interested since its going to not win since it will have chips etc from racing.

If your criteria is engineering and build of the car then that is another story.
      info please.

Wow I'm close I can go to this. Wonder what else they will have at the show. THere should be more than just these cars. That place is huge. BTW they do hold AutoX's there during the summer in the parking lot. Although they have enough room inside but you would have to worry about the fumes. Here is a pic of my S-10 racing there in the lot. the courses are NAtional level size.
