speedtechs webb site?
Anyone know what their site is. I cant pull it up. I looking for a narrowed fuel tank for my 69 Camaro with the DSE kit on it.Kevin

Absolutely. Do do not give your money to Speedtech for parts that were essentially invented and paid for by Detroit Speed.How about trying DSE ?
There is no affiliation between Speedtech and Detroit Speed. If they are claiming to make kits for Detroit Speed systems...they could be in some legal trouble soon.
Detroit Speed makes the narrowed fuel tank that you need.

DSE does not make that tank. Rock Valley makes the tanks to DSE's specs.

Who cares's....... you can get a copy of just about everything you want from crack-tech.
But Brian is correct...... it is a RockValley tank made for Kyle.

Let's not try to slam anyone so quickly. Did I miss something? I didn't see anyone implying that speedtech and detroit speed were affiliated, or that they were claiming to make poducts for DSE. What do you think speedtech copied, the control arms? Global West claims that Kyle stole the design from them. The thing you have to consider is that when three different companies are making a part to serve the same purpose for the same car, there isn't much opportunity to have variance in the products before they lose functionality. Just call rock valley, tell them your measurements and see what it would cost for them to build you what you need. Matt from RFR fabrications is a moderator on the board and he might be able to help you out as well. Originally Posted by trapin

Good point 69Lowbird. In fact none of the three companies mentioned are the original creators/designers of the control arms.

I believe DSE did engineer their own a-arms. And I know that SpeedTech (using another name) had posts on boards asking about DSE a-arms specific measurements, then right after came out with "their" a-arm. I call that copying. Kyle and Stacy are engineers so they didn't have to copy someone elses stuff. Yes, in order to fit the particular application they'll all look similar, nothing can be done about that. It was the way Speed Tech got the info they needed that rubbed me wrong.

How did this get to the damn control arms again! The ST stuff is documented. Let it stop.
Lowbird, before you make statements you need to back them up. Where have you heard that DSE stole the design from GW?
