      Oil Pressure switch??

      Installing my Autometer Gauges can I just take out the factory sensor and install the Autometer sensor with an adaptor??

      Does the computer need to see the sensor??

      Autometer makes an adapter fitting just for this purpose.

      The wire goes from the factory sensor into the PCM but it does nothing with it except send it on to the gauge. So no worries about removing it.
