      Window Guide Roller Source

Looking for both the front and rear rollers for the windows on a '71 Camaro. I found the rears at Classic Industries, at $19 a piece, but nothing on the front. Seems way steep to me as the 1st gens are all of a couple of bucks.

If you know the diameter and thickness you might be able to adapt a different one. That is what I had to do with the roller in my 68 GTO. They make one for a 69 but not a 68. So I modified it. The one on top is the way it comes, the one on the bottom I modified.

Used a drill, a file, a dremel, and a die. It is not perfect but now I can get the window to line up.

May end up doing that. I have found a source that carries a bunch of different rollers, so might just measure the rear one out and get something close. The front is a fit of an issue as it is a two piece construction with a backing plate...

Try NPD, I replaced those on my 73 when building it but can't remember for sure where they came from, but I think it was NPD.

For the rear 1/4 windows on my '68 I bought the ones shown above from NPD. They did not work as they kicked the bottom of the window track to far out to line up.

I did find the correct ones from Rick's First Gen. It is an OER part #7794097.
