      bumper bolt delete

What is the best way of smoothing out the bumper bolts, to have a smooth clean looking bumper. The bumper is going to be painted.

Here is an old link that discusses on how it is done. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ghlight=smooth I did it on my 67 Camaro, but we re-chromed the bumper. Here is some photos of the work. http://www.kodakgallery.com/67rscamaro/main/2006-05-14 Actually, I just got my bumpers back from the chrome shop. Sorry, I have been too busy lately to take photos of them, but they did a great chrome job.

weld the bolt from the back side then grind the head off and weld around the hole where the head is otherwise it will eventually crack out simple body mod that looks great when done
