      different ls1 conversion ?

      i've got a complete ls1 brakes,front,rear.booster,and mc, i want to put on my car.the car has a 250 straight 6 in it.
my question is,will the straight 6 have enough vaccum for the brakes to work right,or will i have to use a manual mc?

As long as you have at least 13 - 14 inches of vacuum you should be good to go. Most stock type engines run around 20 so you should be okay.

Camshaft specifications usually determine your vacuum levels at idle, not displacement. As stated above, anything over 14" Hg is typically adequate, 17-20" Hg is opt, 12-14" Hg is marginal, and anything less is a better candidate for manual brakes or hydroboost.
