      Uprights- short and tall

This has the potential to be a stupid question, so I guess it's my duty to ask it.

Ignoring the B body spindle swap on a G body bump steer and stereing ratio issues, is there any reason why using 2nd Gen F or 73-77 A body tall spindles on a short spindle car (like the A-G 78+ Mali-Cut-Regal) of an earlier A body wouldn't result in some improvement? Or are the ATS spindles that much more flexible that adaptation of the disco era spindles isn't worth the work?
