      Firearms / Gun Parts

Does anybody have firsthand experience with purchasing any firearm parts ?
I'm looking for a 6" barrel for a Smith and Wesson .357 magnum.
      Model 686-3.
      It's got a 2 1/2" barrel and would rather have a 6" or 8" barrel.
I was looking for a good , experienced source.

I only thought that the Dan Wesson series had interchangeable barrells?

I don't know about Dan Wesson , but I'm not really looking for an interchangable barrel.
Like , for swapping back and forth repeatedly.
I just want to change the barrel permanently.
I've heard that they are changeable on a Smith and Wesson.
You just have to knock out a set pin and screw them off.

Call Mark of Pinnacle, he is very good with Smith Revolvers. I've used him in the past for custom work on a 686. Or you could call S&W directly, I have ordered replacement parts from them in the past.
