      HRE 545's

I watched these on ebay for 6 weeks while the price slowly fell by $1200 and finally couldn't resist any longer. I was a little worried because they would not answer my question regarding scratches and rash but figured I would powdercoat the centers if they were scratched. They showed up and there is not a single mark on these wheels. It looks like they were mounted and taken off the car.

18x10 and 18x8.5 with the correct backspacing for my 69 Firebird so I do not think any spacers will be needed. They are BMW wheels but they should work fine.

This was the style of wheel I was looking for to mimic the GTO spares I currently have. I might still powdercoat the centers black since my car is white with black Trans Am stripes. I'll try them as is first since the chrome is so nice.

      Great Score!

I would love to have those for my 69 Camaro. There is a set for a C6 (the offset I need for my 69) different style with tires for $4800 on Corvette Forum...just a little rich.

You got a bargin and I would not change a thing on them

I have the HRE 545s as well. In my opionion one of the best looking wheels for a vintage musclecar, bar none. Great score. I paid $4500 for mine used with tires.

Installed on the car. I like the look of the chrome with the white paint so I won't be powdercoating the centers.

man you made out like a bandit!!! killer price and they look at home on the car!
yea they look real good chrome with the white and when you get all the polished trim on the car it will flow even better. I think white centers would look cool too. but the white with chrome looks real classy.

Those look great! Here are mine in 19" with black centers with a polished lip. Sorry the car is still in a million pieces! Yes I know the rearend is tall, theres no weight in it yet and I put in taller springs to make it easier to body/paint.. It actually sits about 1/2" above the top of the tire loaded with the drop springs, its not really a 4x4 ;) I also have the C6 Z06 beakes for the rear, just have to install them yet. I was thinking about having my rims chromed, I love the way chrome looks against a black car!

Those things look awful. You should sell them here. Not really, just jealous. Great find! Your project looks awesome.
