Welcome John! The only "new" car I ever bought was a 80 Spyder when my first Camaro (a 68) was stolen in Jan of 80. I ordered it through my uncles dealership as a special order. Black, red interior, Buick 231 engine with all the "good" options and radio deleate. I lost it in a divorce and the ex's brother wrapped it around a pole.

I'll be looking for some build pics as you get to it!

My best friend got one of these for his first car in 1990. Car was black on black, 305 and 14"chrome nuggets replaced the factory 13" . Hard to imagine an upgraded wheel being that small now! 305 wasn't that powerful but it could burn that right rear tire off with those little 14's on there. Was a fun ride in school. Car was later sold and we saw it a few years later, went past me and next thing I saw was a nice white cloud of smoke..engine blew! Sure it ended up in a junk yard and is probably sitting there today under a few other throw away cars.
