Question about relay setup

Hello Everyone-

I am down to finishing up my wiring and wanted to see if anyone has found a nice clean way to mount up their relays. I have only seen the one example on the LS1 Tech site and I would really like to have a bit cleaner look (He mounted five baha relays together with adhesive and used a fusable link). If anyone knows about a supplier that sells a block to mount relays I plan on running 2 for the fan, 1 horn, 1 fuel pump, and 1 ignition. I would really appreciate if anyone has photos of how they did it to post them just to give me some ideas. Thanks

I purchased a stand alone fuse relay box from these guys for 109$ Very easy for building your on stand alone harness from the factory harness.

I picked up a "project box" at Radio shack for a couple of bucks. I Mounted all of my relays inside the box. Painted it body color and hung it on the inner fender. Cheap and easy and everything is out of sight.

Five relays to drive the engine? It does not take that much. The whole engine system, ECM, coils, sensors, etc I was told by Painless is only about 20-25 amps at full-tilt boogie power. For that much power, just use a single relay power center. Painless makes a single relay 7-fuse power center that will handle everything on the motor + extra stuff. With three circuits always on and four ignition on, you can power the ECM memory as well.

Here's mine mounted on an auxillary panel inside of the front LH fender. The wiring needs to be cleaned up a bit, but this panel mounts the relay fuse panel, + power stud block, two relays for headlights, and the DSE RS headlight module. The circuits used are:

1) Constant for ECM memory (very little power.)
2) Constant for DSE headlight (very little power.)
3) Ign. on to coil packs (heaviest load.)
4) Ign. on to fuel pump relay in trunk (very little power.)
5) Ign. on to sensors (O2, etc.) (A few amps.)
6) Ign. on to intercooler pump. (5-7 amps)

You can buy the single gang-able relay bases at NAPA for about 17 each. I have purchased several for one of my projects.
2 for headlights
2 for fans
1 for HEI
1 for AC
