Stut to coilover shock
Can you convert a car that came with 4 wheel struts to a coil over shock set-up? My Contour has SHOT suspension and will cost me at least $700 for decent struts, drop springs, and bushings. I would like to entertain the idea of getting some coil over shocks and making brackets to have the conversion. Is this possible?
Here are some shots of what the factory struts look like. (These are not my car)

Just found the recommended spring rate is 525lb fr/ 275lb rear
