looking for some insight
Hey guys. The final project for one of my courses is a plant layout report. We have to spec out some cnc machines to do non-contact machining of oilfield parts, for some local companies. So things like water jet, plasma, edm, and lazer are open game for us. The hard part is choosing which manufacturer to go with. Brand names are everything in industry and they all have a reputaion to go with the name. I'm just looking for some insight from those of you who own a shop, or work in a shop that use cnc machines. Which manufacurers have a good reputation for quality machines, and back up thier product? Which company's have you had a bad experience with? Who would you buy from again? Any sort of insight will defenitly help me out.
