      I need cars..

Well in addition to writing features, doing speed reading, tech letters, tech theory stories and tech installs I also do..

      "find me cars"

Yep, I help find cars for PRH.. so here is the deal.

      What I need from you..

      1. A few pics of the car or links to pics..

      2. Description of the car. Just the basics. If you race it any fashion that is a plus.

      3. Where the heck are you? This time of year we hit the warmer climates.. local cars always have an edge (duh) cars that are in colder climates (snow) are saved till they thaw out.

And here is the big secret.. you don't have to have some show car to get in a magazine.. you don't have to have fancy chip free paint.. or a perfect undercarriage. You don't have to have spent a bajillion dollars on the car. It just has to look good on film and be interesting

      Bonus points for:
      Local
      Not a Camaro
      Not a 69 Camaro (guess I'm screw'd)
      Not a Mustang

Variety is the spice of life so that explains the Camaro/Mustang comments.. Still submit them (PLEASE) but something different like a Maverick or GNX always gets our attention FAST.

Again, trust me.. if your car has a good amount of work done to the brakes, suspension, engine and it has a nice interior and decent paint then you should send something.

Oh, and we deal with mostly 64-94 stuff.. we will do newer and older but it has to be extra special..

      Email me your submissions at:

      [email protected]

I want to build up a nice file of shootable cars, thanks for helping

my car should be back from paint next week, and hopefully i'll get the interior installed over the next month or so, and a new vinyl top and windshield to finish it off. should be ready to go by late spring or summer at the latest. however it's a mustang a 69 GT coupe, so while kind of rare being a GT and a resto-mod car it's still a mustang.

Remember.. being a mustang is not BAD it is just nice to get various cars

For instance June has two 69 Camaros in it.. we don't want to become Camaro Performers II

As it gets close send me the info I requested above.. BTW.. I love Mustangs..

Your car isn't magazine quality YET.. that is what you meant.. right?

Either way I love how it looks with those wheels.. nice work..

well no.....truthfully its painted the interior is not completely done but its presentable there isn't anything that anyone would go OMG how did he not fix that? well maybe lol I'm planning to change some things but the car is at a point where most sane people would call it done lol

I'll see what I can do......

Would you guys be interested in coming to the east coast in May? We have the Ocean City Spring Cruise (Md) on May 19th through the 22nd. They have about 5000 cars register for the show and another million show up just to cruise around the beach. It's a little bit of everything, stock, prostreet, protouring etc... I will have my convertible done by then. Didn't know if a group event would be something you guys would want to cover. Oh yeah, and while you're over here if you want, you can take a couple of photo's of my car. It's a 67 Mustang Convertible, that runs 10.0's. Here's what it should look like next month.

Steve, bring your camera to The Year One Experience. I'm bringing two magazine quality 68 Camaro convertibles to the event. Both with magnacharged LS1s under the hood, both pro-touring cars. We are all three going to long haul on the Power Tour this year!
