Project Kaizen

join the crowd...i work for Kubota and they highly emphisize the "kaizen" approach to evrything we build or process we do...i hate it...constantly fixing what isn't broke is what they should say it means...japanese over-do and over-think everything...go sometimes but we as americans have been brought up to do things easier, cheaper, and faster...they strive for safety, quailty, and productivity...

I hate to say it but I'm happy we're not the only ones. I happen to agree with your philosophy. It holds especially true in the economic environment we find ourselves in today.
