17" Steelies....
Alright I know this topic has probally been brought up a done and I've read almost every thread I can on here about them.
Now this car is going to be 80% daily driver and 20% autocross ....
How much is the weight difference on the steelies going to hurt me?
Right now my car should have about 450hp at the crank....currently have 15" centerlines with 60 series balloon tires =/.
Wanting to swap out the leaf springs for some performance ones and get some 17" tires to help with the handling....
I've heard at over 40 lbs a rim on all 4 corners of the car that these might not be the best choice?1969 Chevelle

i'd guess 40+... mine were heavy... like heavy heavy..
though... i felt an huge difference right away... even though they are twice the weight of the last ones..The Gutless Cutlass, is no more.
